Longtime Intuition rider, and Kern County blading kingpin Anthony Luna organized the first ever Underground Tactics/Intuition BBQ and Session at his hometown Taft, CA skate park on May 18th. All bladers within reach were invited via Facebook, Twitter, and word of mouth. Around 30 bladers showed up from Los Angeles, Ridgecrest, Bakersfield, and Taft. The session lasted from 1pm until after 9pm. 40 hamburgers and 20 hot dogs were devoured, countless tricks were laced, old friendships were reinforced, and new friendships were founded. Tonight was another Thirsty Thursday session out at the Taft, CA skate park. It is easy to get comfortable, and always skate the same obstacles at one of your favorite parks. But tonight, some of the bladers decided to session a quarter pipe with no coping, proving that there are always new spots to be found – and new ways to skate old spots. Today we hit the road, and headed one hour North to the town of Tulare for a skate park session. The car ride up was a blast, the Cali sun was shining, the session was proper, and tricks were laced.
