This past weekend we headed down to Los Angeles for the ACF 2011 Street Finals on Saturday, September 3rd. Iain Mcleod came out victorious after a rigorous day of skating four different spots on the streets of LA. Congrats to Intuition/Remz rider Anthony Luna for taking 4th place. After the contest we met up with my good friend Drew Bachrach for a night of debauchery and good times in Culver City. Sunday morning, we got up and went straight to the First Sunday Session at Stoner Park. It was yet another great weekend of rollerblading that started and ended in Intuitionland. The ACF 2011 Street Finals are going down on Saturday September 3rd in Los Angeles, CA. Check all the info below, get your crew together, and roll out for what is sure to be a great weekend of rollerblading in Southern California.

What: A Chosen Few 2011 Street Finals
When: Saturday September 3rd, meet up at 11am
Where: Meet up spot is 2955 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90010
Who: Anyone can compete
Cost: $10 to skate/FREE to watch
Prize Money: Top 3 get prizes and cash.

“Be there at 11am for warm ups and sign ups. Top 3 from any other competition do not have to skate the first round. The Finals are worth more points than any other competition. Top 3 and best trick will get cash. Top 10 will get product. As always there will be some extra chosen few challenges in the mix to win some money during the competition. Hope to see you there!!!

Fly into LAX or Burbank Airport. If you are looking for places to stay there are tons of cheap and I mean cheap!! motels in the area around where the competition is. But you can easily take the metro get off at Alvarado and skate to the spot. All spots at the comp are in skate able distance from each other but you will most likely be able to hop in someones car anyway. Better to have a ride.

Also the day after the comp which is Sunday September 4th is our annual First Sunday session we do every month at a new skate park. September’s first Sunday session will be from 11am till whenever at Stoner plaza located at 1835 Stoner Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90025.
